Kiss the Girls

Great serial killer movie Kiss the Girls

I absolutely love this movie! Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman bring the characters in James Patterson’s novel to life beautifully.

Usually when a book is made into a feature length movie it goes straight to DVD so I’m glad Kiss the Girls was quality enough to stand up against other big screen bad boys!

Now remember that books and movies tend to differ from each other so I highly recommend that you treat yourself to both the book and the movie.

Set in North Carolina the scenery is stunning and the woods where Casanova brings his victims to die is as chilling as any nightmare your imagination can dream up.

Alex Cross one of the main characters is an enigma in himself, and also features in a few other of Patterson’s novels as well, when his niece Naomi Cross disappears from her college he gets involved in the case. We get to see what an investigator / psychiatrist / uncle goes through emotionally as the investigation gets thicker. I sure wouldn’t be able to focus the way he did if it was my niece.

Casanova, as this killer calls himself, has a warped sense of intimacy and devotion. He collects talented beautiful young woman for his own personal pleasure and when one disobeys his rules… well… you can imagine.

The movie keeps you guessing as to whodunnit, right to the very end so if you haven’t seen it then I won’t spoil it for you, although I will leave you with this little treat!
