Edmund Kemper AKA The Co-Ed Killer - (Source Wikipedia)

 

Although Kemper makes my top list of serial killers you may not really know much about him. So here is a quick breakdown.

Kemper started his career as a serial killer at the ripe young age of 15. His first victims were his grandparents. He then killed and dis-membered six female hitchhikers in California throughout the early 1970s. Finally he killed his mother and her close friend before turning himself in.

This guy has issues! Kemper pleaded “Not guilty” by reason of insanity. I hope the parole board remember that come July!

Kemper’s crimes are gruesome and very graphic to describe, you would probably lose your lunch if I had to give you an idea.

I can however give you this tid-bit of gruesomeness… Kemper convinced a group of psychiatrists during a parole hearing once that he was rehabilitated. If one of those shrinks had bothered to look inside his car at the time, they would have seen a woman’s head!
